Katana Bushido, Natsuki - Sharpened

The Katana is a Japanese sword used by the samurai.

This katana is made by a traditional forge specialized in creating high quality Japanese weapons with an exclusive design.

This katana has a sharpened blade with Fuller, a yellow-orange braided handle with a white ray skin cloth underneath, to which is attached a golden Komainu (guardian lion from Japanese culture), a black and gold guard (Tsuba) depicting a fight between samurai and dragons and a beautiful scabbard (Saya) made of light lacquered wood.

The Kiyoshi Katana has a black Kashira (end of the handle) decorated with golden flowers.
This Katana is also decorated with golden flowers on a black background on its Fushi (part between the guard and the handle).

This katana can be used for cutting training.

Medium carbon 1045 steel (0.45% carbon) blades have a relatively flexible blade, ideal for cutting practice and can take heavy blows without breaking. However, the blade dulls more quickly compared to a high carbon 1065 steel (0.65% carbon).

The 1045 steel is the most common steel used in cutlery because it is a good compromise between hardness and flexibility and is easily sharpened. Do not forget to take care of your weapon by oiling the blade to avoid rust.

"Natsuki" means "Summer tree" in Japanese.
