The shuriken is a traditional Japanese throwing weapon, which is used in shurikenjutsu.
This martial art is an integral part of ninja training.
Contrary to popular belief, this weapon is relatively ineffective, and is therefore little used in direct combat. This weapon is rather used to distract the opponent or during ambushes where the speed of the attack is essential.

This shuriken is purely ornamental, it is made to be used as decoration or for cosplay.
This shuriken is not a weapon and is not sharpened (cannot be thrown on a target).
