Nunchaku, Thin & Light - Foam & Chain

This weapon consists of two equal-length pieces of wood/steel/foam/stainless steel held together at their ends by a chain. The sticks can vary and measure between 30 and 35 centimetres in length.

Here's a very effective weapon for those who know how to handle it, the origins of nunchaku are not clearly established. It has been widely used in Japan, but may have originated in China (where it is called "suang jie gun" or "er jie gun"). It is the weapon of choice of Bruce Lee, who greatly popularized its use.

Beware, nunchaku is relatively dangerous for the unwary practitioner...
