Katana Tachi Bushido, Kokuei - Damascus steel, Sharpened

A Tachi is a sword with a curved blade of about 70 cm ; this is the precursor of the classic Japanese katana sword.

This katana Tachi is made by a traditional forge specialized in the creation of high quality Japanese weapons with an exclusive design.

This Tachi has a Damascus steel sharpened blade, a black braided handle with a golden Komainu (guardian lion from Japanese culture) inside, a finely worked black cloverleaf guard with flowery decorations and a wooden scabbard (Saya) with a black ray skin covering decorated with Komainus on the ends of the Koshirae.

This Tachi has a Kojiri (scabbard end) decorated with black details and a Kashira (handle end) with flower details of the same colour.
This Katana Tachi is also decorated with black flowers on its Koiguchi (mouth of the scabbard) and on its Fushi (part between the guard and the handle).

This weapon can be used for cutting training.

Laminated steel blades are generally made of 1045 medium carbon steel. This gives a textured look and offers more flexibility to the blade. Do not forget to take care of your weapon by oiling the blade to avoid rust.

"Kokuei" means "Black shadow" in Japanese.
