Katana Tachi Bushido, Hikari - Sharpened

A Tachi is a sword with a curved blade of about 70 cm ; this is the precursor of the classic Japanese katana sword.

This katana Tachi is made by a traditional forge specialized in the creation of high quality Japanese weapons with an exclusive design.

This Tachi has a sharpened blade,a gold and white braided handle with a gold komainu (guardian lion from Japanese culture) inside, a finely detailed gold guard depicting a battle between samurai and dragons and a cream lacquered wooden scabbard (Saya) with a four-coloured braided Sageo (parma, black, white and beige). This Tachi is also equipped with a black Koshirae with golden details.

This Tachi has a Kojiri (end of the scabbard) decorated with gold details and a Kashira (lower part of the handle) decorated with a gold samourais and dragons.
This Katana Tachi is also decorated with gold dragons on its Koiguchi (scabbard opening) and on its Fushi (part between the guard and the handle).

This weapon can be used for cutting training.

High manganese stainless steel blades are made of an alloy steel containing 12-14% manganese.
This type of steel is often considered the ultimate hardened steel: these blades are known for their resistance to rust, impact, abrasion and are sharp and flexible at the same time. Ideal for cutting training.

"Hikari" means "Light" in Japanese.
