The Katana is a Japanese sword used by the samurai.

This katana is made by a traditional forge specialized in creating high quality Japanese weapons with an exclusive design.

This katana has a sharpened blade with Fuller,a royal blue braided handle with a white ray skin cloth underneath, on which is fixed a black Komainu (Guardian Lion from Japanese culture), a silver and gold guard (Tsuba) decorated with flowers and a beautiful blue lacquered wooden sheath (Saya).

This Katana has a black Kashira (end of the handle) decorated with flowers.
This Katana is also decorated with black flowers on a black background on its Fushi (part between the guard and the handle).

This katana can be used for cutting training.

Medium carbon 1045 steel (0.45% carbon) blades have a relatively flexible blade, ideal for cutting practice and can take heavy blows without breaking. However, the blade dulls more quickly compared to a high carbon 1065 steel (0.65% carbon).

The 1045 steel is the most common steel used in cutlery because it is a good compromise between hardness and flexibility and is easily sharpened. Do not forget to take care of your weapon by oiling the blade to avoid rust.
