The Katana is a Japanese sword used by the samurai.

This katana is made by a traditional forge specialized in the creation of high quality Japanese weapons with an exclusive design.

This katana has a sharp black blade with white engravings and Hamon. This katana has a braided black leather handle decorated inside with a black Komainu (Guardian Lion in Japanese culture), a black honeycombed guard (Tsuba) and a beautiful burgundy lacquered wooden scabbard (Saya). This katana can be used for cutting training.

High manganese stainless steel blades are made of an alloy steel containing 12-14% manganese.
This type of steel is often considered the ultimate hardened steel: these blades are known for their resistance to rust, impact, abrasion and are sharp and flexible at the same time. Ideal for cutting training.

"Akatake" means "red bamboo" in Japanese.
