Katana Tachi Bushido, Tasogare - Sharpened

A Tachi is a sword with a curved blade of about 70 cm ; this is the precursor of the classic Japanese katana sword.

This katana Tachi is made by a traditional forge specialized in the creation of high quality Japanese weapons with an exclusive design.

This Tachi has a sharpened blade with a burgundy braided handle with black and gold filaments inside, a finely worked black spiral guard decorated with an eagle, a black lacquered wood sheath (Saya) with a beautiful burgundy braid and a black Koshirae with black details

This Tachi has a Kashira (end of the handle) decorated with a black samurai and dragons.
This Tachi Katana is also decorated with black dragons on its Koiguchi (scabbard end) and on its Fushi (part between the guard and the handle).

This weapon can be used for cutting training.

Medium carbon 1045 steel (0.45% carbon) blades have a relatively flexible blade, ideal for cutting practice and can take heavy blows without breaking. However, the blade dulls more quickly compared to a high carbon 1065 steel (0.65% carbon).

The 1045 steel is the most common steel used in cutlery because it is a good compromise between hardness and flexibility and is easily sharpened. Do not forget to take care of your weapon by oiling the blade to avoid rust.

"Tasogare" means "Dusk" in Japanese.
