Katana Tachi Bushido, Hideyoshi - Sharpened

A Tachi is a sword with a curved blade of about 70 cm ; this is the precursor of the classic Japanese katana sword.

This katana Tachi is made by a traditional forge specialized in the creation of high quality Japanese weapons with an exclusive design.

This Tachi has a black sharpened blade, a black and white braided handle with a black Komainu (guardian lion in Japanese culture) inside, a finely worked cloverleaf guard with flowery decorations and a natural wooden scabbard (Saya) decorated with bronze coloured Komainus on the ends of the black braided Sageo. This Tachi is also equipped with a black Koshirae with black detail inclusions.

This Tachi has a Kojiri (scabbard mouth) decorated with bronze details and a Kashira (handle end) with bronze flower details.
This Katana Tachi is also decorated with black bronze flowers on its Koiguchi (mouth of the scabbard) and on its Fushi (part between the guard and the handle).

This weapon can be used for cutting training.

High manganese stainless steel blades are made of an alloy steel containing 12-14% manganese.
This type of steel is often considered the ultimate hardened steel: these blades are known for their resistance to rust, impact, abrasion and are sharp and flexible at the same time. Ideal for cutting training.

"Hideyoshi" is a Japanese proper name meaning excellent and virtuous.
