Fan, Traditional - Aerial waterfall, Bamboo

This fan is made of bamboo and rigid satin-finished fabric and has a clean and relaxing design showing a mountainous landscape under the mist.
On the front is a mountainous landscape with many waterfalls under the thick mist. This floating landscape is accompanied by a poem and thus inspired the name of this fan.
On the back are four Chinese characters symbolising a welcoming watery environment; a familiar and pleasant place.

This fan is not suitable for traditional Tai-Chi practice (slamming of the weapon).
It is designed for decoration and demonstration, it can also be used in summer :)

The different parts of a fan

• The leaf (also named mount) : fabric or canvas of the fan, it is the most decorated part
• The guards : thick branches at the extremities.

This part protects the fan when it is closed

• The sticks: branches located between the 2 pieces of leaf (fabric). The visible ones are called "sticks" and those covered by the leaf are called "ribs" or "slips".
