Fan, Traditional - Renewal, Bamboo

This two-coloured fan is made of bamboo and rigid satin-finished fabric and has a pure and traditional design.
On the front it shows a mountainous landscape with two people sailing across a lake. According to the poem on this side, this crossing represents a journey to new horizons by making a clean sweep of the past; hence the name of this fan.
On the reverse side you can see four Chinese characters symbolising a silent struggle to get rid of a tumultuous past.

This fan is not suitable for traditional Tai-Chi practice (slamming of the weapon).
It is designed for decoration and demonstration, it can also be used in summer :)
