Katana Iaïto Kujaku, Koi Carps
A Iaïto is a Japanese training weapon, which imitates the katana and allows the study of Iaïdo and Iaïjutsu.
This Iaïto with an unsharpened blade has a magnificent handle with red braiding, a finely worked Zamak guard and a sheath (Saya) in white lacquered wood with the serigraphy of four Asian carps.
Features of the Katana:
The blade is thinner than that of a traditional katana, this format is ideal for the study of martial arts such as Iaido or Iaijutsu.

The scabbard (saya) is in white painted wood, with screen-printed motifs of Asian carp: four carp of the Kujaku species, hence the name of the katana. Kujaku koi carp are white-based carp with a black pattern. They are a lucky charm in the Japanese tradition.

Maintenance tips :
We advise you to clean your blade after each training session, or each month without use. In order to protect the blade, we invite you to clean it and apply a light coat of oil to prevent rust/oxidation
