The weapons in question offer a pleasant feeling in the hand: they are responsive without being too rigid, and the strikes are powerful without being excessively hard. They transmit palpable punch force, but without the risk of serious injury, even without heavy equipment.

The geometry of the blade is distinguished by its squareness, providing increased feel and grip in use. A major advantage lies in their small flexibility, allowing safe thrusts, thanks to a well-designed distal cone which balances the sword and provides a tip suitable for thrusting.

LK Chen presents the Double Hand Sparring Jian, a synthetic training sword with the shape, dynamics and handling of the authentic Double Hand Chu Jian.
