Persian Shamshir sword, Forge LK Chen

Inspired by the legendary Persian swords, this Shamshir is an elegant, fine and fearsomely effective weapon, faithful to classic Middle Eastern lines while benefiting from modern, high-quality workmanship.

The word "shamshir" comes from the Persian "شمشیر "and designates a single-edged curved sword, used particularly from the 15th century onwards. It is the ancestor or cousin of other curved swords such as the Ottoman saber (kilij), the Indian talwar, or the scimitar.

The blade features a progressive taper, a typical Shamshir characteristic, with elegant curvature and weight distribution thought for fluid cutting :

Material of the blade

Forged in steel to spring high tenor in carbon GB 60Si2MnA, equivalent to the famous AISI/SAE 5160, this steel offers a excellent resilience and flexibility, ideal .span class="_fadeIn_m1hgl_8">for a blade of fighting or of demonstration.
