This weapon called "Saxony" is a reproduction of a magnificent 16th century German rapier, inspired by the splendid German Renaissance collection (Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York) and other European museum collections.

This is another exacting recreation that LK Chen has tackled, with the invaluable help of experts in decorative details and construction methods, such as the braiding of the elaborate metal "Turk's head" knots on the hilt.
