Qing Dynasty broadsword - Liuyedao Tiger Head, Rigid sharpened

This Qing dynasty broadsword, with a rigid blade made of finely engraved steel, has a high quality finish.

Its scabbard is covered with braided straps in imitation leather, the braiding technique used is called intrecciato.
It is sublimated with black ornaments in the shape of a tiger's head which are perfectly and discreetly integrated into the scabbard.
Its kojiri (reinforcement at the end of the scabbard) and its guard in the shape of a tiger biting the blade and the scabbard, gives it character and embellishes the whole.

Its handle is covered with a thin rope, which surrounds it on all its length.
It is finished with a black metal decoration.

Its blade, giving it its Liuyedao style (or willow leaf broadsword, commonly used as a secondary military weapon for cavalry and infantry during the Ming and Qing dynasties) has a moderate curve along its length.
This reduces the thrust capacity, while increasing the cutting power.
It is beautifully engraved along its entire length, right to the beginning of the " sharpness " of the blade.

This broadsword comes with its own storage case so you can preserve it for years.
Remember, to increase the life of your broadsword , you must treat the steel well!
