What are gymnastic rings used for?
Gym rings are made for athletes wishing to combine strength, agility, flexibility and resistance. They allow to work in depth the back, the shoulders, the arms and the abdominals.
Several exercises can be performed in order to develop your upper body. They also have the advantage of making you work muscles that are not often used in classic bodybuilding or in the gym.
It is also possible to add an additional load to your body weight such as weighted accessories, such as bracelets or weighted vests. This is a good way to increase the difficulty of the movements to be performed.
What exercises to do with gym rings?
- Low position (close to the ground): for push-ups, core exercises, etc.
- At waist height: for reverse rowing, dips, muscle-up initiation, L-Sit, etc.
- High position: for pull-ups, swings, Iron cross (or iron cross), etc.
