German Battle Axe, Pico Cuervo
Very realistic replica of a German Battle Ax from the time of Medieval Europe, made of metal and wood.
The ax known as the Pico Cuervo originally used by cavalry in southern Germany. Basically, it was only a small handgun. Its head consisted of a long curved beak, which gave it its name, and its lighter than normal blade.
16th century battle axes were the military version of the traditional lumbering axes, but lighter for easier handling and with a sharper blade for greater efficiency in battle.
It was one of the most powerful weapons of the time. At that time, the appearance of armor led to the addition of beaks on the opposite side of the blade, in order to be able to pass through these metal armors.

This weapon has a wide metal blade, rigid and unsharpened. Engravings decorate both sides of this blade.
