The frame is made of aluminum, the 2 outer ribbings are thicker to have perfect rigidity. The total weight remains relatively heavy (290g) and therefore a little more difficult to handle than a bamboo model. Also, the click produced when it is opened is stronger. This fan will suit well the demanding taiji and wushu practitioners.
