The Tanto is a Japanese knife used by the samurai. It is a single-edged weapon with a blade size of less than 30 cm without taking the Habaki into account.

This Tanto is a hamidashi (tanto with guard). It has a sharp blade (Maru) straight with a central fuller (Bohi),a brown braided handle (Tsuka) decorated inside with a golden Komainu (guardian lion from Japanese culture), a black honeycombed guard (Tsuba) with fan motifs and a magnificent sheath (Saya) in textured black lacquered wood.
This Tanto can be used for cutting practice.
"Yoru" means "night" in Japanese.
