Upper range rigid blade on high-quality steel, superbly handcrafted. Sabers of this shape, destined to counter the better weapons of the Mongol army, appear for the first time at the end of the Song dynasty [960 -1279], and soon were adopted by the Shaolin system.

Lower Range 9 Hooks Broadsword.

Rigid blade made of carbon and manganese steel, coppered and wooden parts are covered with black patina. Made in Longquan forges. This is a Taiji broadsword, Chen style.
