The Katana is a Japanese sword used by samurai.
This Katana is made of Reinforced Polypropylene.
Polypropylene (C3H6)n is a rigid plastic polymer, not brittle and therefore very resistant to abrasion.
It is therefore an ideal material for weapons intended for blade against blade training.
The Polypropylene of this weapon is rigid but bends slightly under heavy pressure.
Katana sold with a guard which clips on thanks to a small detent and which is easily dismantled.
