Simple mouthguard, Thermoformable - V1.5, Shock Doctor

The V1.5 mouthguard by Shock Doctor protects the teeth, lips and tongue.

The mouthguard is designed to absorb impacts to the mouth area and distribute force across your jaw preventing injury.

Multi-Layer Construction with an internal shock-absorbing frame offers protection and fit that outperforms conventional mouthguards.
Built-In Breathing Channel through the centre of the mouthguard to allow for freer flow of air and easier breathing

Fitting instructions :

Step 1: Fill a pan with 3 to 4 inches of water. Bring to the boil.
Step 2: Remove the water from the heat source. Let the water stand for 30 seconds, then place the mouthguard in the water for 60 seconds. Do not exceed 60 seconds.
Step 3 : Carefully remove the mouthguard from the hot water with a slotted spoon.
Step 4: Cool the mouthguard under running water for 1-2 seconds.
Step 5: Lick your lips before placing the mouthguard in your mouth.
Step 6: Align the mouthguard with the centre line of your teeth. Adjust the mouthguard over and around the upper teeth (lower teeth for Gravity 2 STC) and press firmly on the molars first, then on the front teeth.
Step 7: Close your mouth and bite down hard on the mouth guard. Aspirate strongly. Use your fingers to press the edges of the mouthguard against the teeth.
Step 8: Remove the mouthguard from the mouth and immerse it completely in the cup containing ice and cold water - allow it to cool for 2 minutes. Replace the mouthguard in the mouth and check that it fits properly.

Repeat steps 1 to 8 if the adjustment is not accurate.

Care instructions :

• Clean the mouthguard with cold water or use an antiseptic mouthwash.
• Do not use toothpaste, detergents or other cleaning products.
• Clean the mouthguard box with warm water and a small amount of antiseptic mouthwash.
• Rinse thoroughly and dry before storing the mouthguard in its box.
