[Duanwei Series] WuZuQuan

This book and video series is published by the Wushu Research Institute, under the General Administration of Sport of China. It presents the grading program, called “duanwei” in Mandarin, established by the Chinese Wushu Federation.

Includes one book, in Mandarin Chinese with color illustrations + 2 DVDs.

Each book introduces a Chinese martial art style or weapon and is structured as follows:

• Introduction and brief history of the style, basic techniques and movement principles, techniques and stances.
• One chapter for each “duanwei” grade, structured as follows:
  • Basic forms
  • “Danlian Taolu” detailed solo routines (one person)
  • “Dui Da Taolu” two-person routines (partner work / combat)
  • “Chai Zhao” advanced techniques.
• Appendix: Credits, acknowledgments to the schools and organizations that contributed to the writing of this book.
