German replica gun, with silencer

Reproduction of a gun with silencer, made of metal and plastic handles, with mechanism of simulation of load and fire, magazine and removable silencer.

Made in Germany in 1931, known by its initials whose name comes from the German "Polizei Pistole Kurz". Used by the army during the Second World War. It was the weapon used by Adolf Hitler to commit suicide.

It was also the first semi-automatic gun that could be carried with a bullet in the chamber without the risk of accidental shooting by blows or drops. Its discreet and comfortable size, the small recoil of the shot and the safety of its mechanism popularized it throughout the twentieth century, becoming the favorite weapon of the secret services of the West.

It became famous thanks to the fictional character James Bond 007, who used it in most of his films, where he attaches a silencer to the gun when a more subtle work is needed. It is also the weapon used by Holly Hunter in her role as Detective M.J. in Copycat.
