Leather Holster - Replica 1911

Reproduction of the M3 shoulder holsters designed to carry the M1911 pistol.

Introduced in 1943, the M3 was widely used by paratroopers and tank crews.
It was later replaced by the M7 holster, but some soldiers preferred the simpler M3 holster.
The M3 continued to be worn until the Vietnam War.

The large cross strap went over the head and left arm, and the small strap was used to attach the holster to the belt.
Used, among others, by world-famous Elvis Presley during his military service from 1958.

Large American "US" stamp on the holster.
Made of thick brown leather.
