Le style Yong Chun est une routine traditionnelle du Sud. Comme il est dit, ce style a été crée par le Maître Wumei originaire de Shaolin du Sud, il l'a crée spécialement pour son excellent étudiant Yongchun. C'est une technique de boxe très populaire chez les pratiquants de wushu du monde entier. La boxe de Yongchun a été pratiquée à Foshan depuis longtemps et a produit d'excellents maîtres. Des personnes comme Ye Wen, Bruce Lee, venant de Shunde, Foshan, ont énormément contribué à la popularisation de ce style et du wushu en général. Un des principes du Yongchun veut que l'arme soit courbée et tenue au milieu pour défendre les parties importantes du corps. Basé sur le combat actuel, avec ses caractéristiques majeures de changement de positions, d'agilité, de force, de souplesse et de force courte, le poing du boxeur part à une vitesse impressionnante...

Yongchun Quan


YongChun Quan is one of traditional routines in South wushu. As it is said, it was created by Master Wumei from South Shaolin. He specially set it up for his excellent student Yongchun. It is a kind of boxing skill, which is still favourite exercise for the Wushu lovers all round the world. Yongchun Quan has been handed down in Foshan for ages and has produced many excellent masters on it. Ye Wen and Bruce Lee, too, were from Shunde, Foshan, and hand a great contribution on promoting Wushu. The skill characteristics of Yongchun Quan are : The arm should be bent and stay at the middle, to defend the important parts of the body. It bases itself upon actual combat, with major characteristics of changeable forms, agility in use, and short strength. It enables the boxer to grasp chances to beat back. The fists go out at an impressive speed. It is practiced with both strong and soft strength and at a fast speed alternate with a slow speed.
